One homeowner says the dogs have already killed four cats and she worries they could attack her children. The dogs have been running wild and targeting cats since Sunday. Kara Kerber came home that afternoon to discover her cat had been mauled to death. "That was my baby you know what I mean. That really mentally hurt me. It's not something I'm gonna be able to get over," Kerber said. Kerber says the dogs are causing fear in her central Fresno neighborhood. "Since then the dogs have killed my neighbor's cat, they killed a Siamese cat behind us on the next street and a gray cat on the street behind us," Kerber said. Woman airlifted after being attacked by several dogs
Moore County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a dog attack at a residence on Edward Road in Star. Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found an adult female who had sustained multiple injuries from an apparent attack by several dogs, said the Moore County Sheriff’s Office in a press release. “Moore County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services responded to the scene and took custody of three dogs involved in the incident,” stated the release. “The female was transported by medical helicopter with non-life-threatening injuries for further evaluation and treatment.” The Moore County Sheriff’s Office and Animal Services continue to investigate the circumstances of the attack. Loose pit bulls bite up to 5 during trick-or-treating in Tarentum
By Michael DiVittorio TribLive Tarentum resident Margie Shutack is grateful her husband Michael will recover from what was described as a vicious dog attack on Halloween about a block away from their East Seventh Avenue home. “God has been on our side,” said Shutack on Thursday evening. “I’m just so glad that he’s going to be all right.” She was inside her home with their son when others alerted her of the attack. Another resident took cellphone video of the incident. Up to five people, including Michael Shutack, were bitten by pit bulls on the loose in the neighborhood as trick-or-treating got underway, police said. On Saturday, Nov. 2, police responded to the 3200 block of East 80th Street on reports of an animal attack. Police were told multiple dogs were attacking the victim, whose family identified to KSHB 41 News as Chris Culbertson. A second victim contacted police and told them she was also attacked. Culbertson was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, family and police told KSHB 41 News. Dakota, a 4-year-old pit bull-German shepherd mix — “a sweet dog,” Donna said — then had a seizure, jerking and frothing at the mouth. The Roberges had had Dakota from the time the dog was a puppy. But from that moment on Oct. 30, Dakota was never the same sweet dog. Their family pet “looked at me and didn’t recognize me,” said Adam. The dog then started to lunge at the couple’s daughters, Savannah, 11, and Celina, 14, trying to bite them. The parents made their daughters stay in their bedroom, door closed, for their own protection. Mytoka Petry was on a walk in the North Portland area earlier this week when eight dogs randomly attacked her.
