PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. — A pack of aggressive dogs is posing a threat to public safety in Mill Creek, an unincorporated part of Castor Township in Phelps County, Missouri, according to a post Sunday morning on Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District’s Facebook page.
The pack formed after owners dumped multiple dogs in the same area, the post said.
The pack of dogs has been known to attack other animals.
There has been one attack by the pack on a dog walking with its owner in the Mill Creek area.
The fire district said residents should avoid approaching an aggressive dog or pack of dogs and should keep pets safe and supervised at all times.
Residents in the area were advised to stay vigilant and report any sightings by contacting local authorities immediately.
